On March 31, the Districtwide Black Student Union hosted Art-iculate– an exploration of personal connection to the arts and expression! Throughout the morning, students participated in workshops on poetry, dance, music, and visual arts where they learned how to channel their unique perspectives into different creative pursuits. As the event concluded, students gathered in the district boardroom to share what they learned and created, including artwork, readings, and performances they refined during their workshops.

Thank you to all of the incredible advisors and district staff who supported the event and helped these young minds step into their creativity and artistic expression! Opportunities such as Art-iculate encourage students to develop their skills and follow their passions while celebrating the impact of an education in the arts.
