A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Black Knowledge Bowl on Friday, February 20! We celebrated Black culture, history, and excellence and watched as our community came out to support our amazing teams from across the district. Our students gave it their all in this trivia competition, and they were eager to share all the amazing information they learned about Black history. Special shout out to everyone from district staff to the team advisors who made this event possible, and to the students for their passion and dedication!

Five teams moved on from the preliminary rounds to compete in the final showdown: Highland High School, Quartz Hill High School, SOAR Lancaster, SOAR Palmdale, and SOAR Prep. SOAR Palmdale proved victorious, and the team was awarded the 2026 Black365 Knowledge Bowl Champion School.
