Last month, our Urban Scholars from across our campuses presented their Youth Participatory Action Research to their peers at the district office. These insightful projects required students to first identify an issue or problem in their schools or community and propose a solution to help address their topic. The culmination of the project and the Urban Scholars program as a whole offers students the chance to take charge, learn valuable research skills, and find their voice.
